Bonjour!!! (ha...!) I've learned about three short phrases in French, and it seems to have made a WORLD of difference in acclimating myself here and navigating the city! I say, "Please." "Excuse me." "Do you speak English?" "Thank you, very much." "Good day!" "Goodnight" "Goodbye." And, a few other BASIC words and phrases. Most of the Frenchies seem friendly and willing to help. The Metro is easily understandable and I have no problem riding it from one place to the next. Walking, however, I am constantly getting lost! I'm used to a "numbered grid," and I am a terrible map-reader. I think I was about 35 before I finally knew the direction of N, S, E, and W.

With the exception of Tuesday (the day I arrived here) the weather has been idyllic! Bright sunshine, and in the 50's!!! Some flowers are already in BLOOM!!! (Daffodils!!!)

Here are a few random photos from yesterday.

Sending you all my LOVE - Jojo!
