PHOTOS: Cimetiere du Montparnasse

Ummm... a group of Asian women rolling suitcases
through a cemetery in Paris, France.
This could be a Fellini scene a-la-2008!

BAUDELAIRE. Tokens left upon his grave included; sugar cubes,
buttons, and a jar of tapenade (Can anyone explain any of these?)
As well as some notes and writings.

BAUDELAIRE, and me.

"Rhinoceros" & "The Bald Soprano," Playwright: IONESCO.

SAMUEL BECKETT and my shadow.

BECKETT; The World's Greatest Playwright (sorry, Shakespeare.)

BECKETT'S simple grave. Three small potted plants.
I thought it fitting that a single tree should stand at the
foot of his grave ("Waiting for Godot's" only set piece; a tree.)

CIMETIERE du MONTPARNASSE, Paris, France.

SARTRE and DE BEAUVIOR.

(Again.)

See the crows perched here?
So many crows in BOTH of the cemeteries that I visited.
Definitely adds to the Gothic presence.

Sunday afternoon pony rides (animal abuse.)
Walking back to the apartment through Luxembourg Garden.

Beautiful Sorbonne Subway Station. Heading "home."
